New Delhi: RJ Mit had exclusive access and was able to show the human side of the Giants camp, which is otherwise only seen through the lens of athletes and sports
The Gujarat Giants’ time with Radio Mirchi’s inimitable RJ Mit made for a memorable week for them. The Giants, who are vying for a playoff position in Season 9 of the Pro Kabaddi League, had an engaging session with witty RJ Mit.
While the Giants picked up the points and produced some scintillating moments on the mat, Mit’s radio jockeying skills added another element of fun and frolic for the fans. Not only did Mit bring out the lighter side of the players and the rest of the Giants camp, but he also had the fans cranking up their cheering routines on the day of the match.

Mit’s interactions with the team’s supporters led to an outpouring of love and adoration for the players. Impressed by the powerful performances, the Giants supporters wished the team the very best and made it clear to Radio Mirchi’s listeners who they were supporting in Season 9 of the Pro Kabaddi League.

Away from the spotlight of the game, Mit and the Gujarat Giants had a fun session playing some tongue twisters such as “hu tu tu tu hu tu tu tu maru Hindi tutlu futlu”, “kabaddi kabaddi maakhi vaali rabdi” and “gher gher gaay Gujarati Garjega Gujarat Giants”.
In his Vlog, Mit talks about his stay in the Giants camp, where he interacted with the players headed by Chandran Ranjith and trained by coach Ram Mehar Singh. He also describes the special opportunity he had to see the Giants in action and go behind the scenes to learn more about the people who run the show.
