The final match of second edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2017 will be played between Peshawar Zalmi and runners-up of previous season Quetta Gladiators at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. In Pakistan, the live cricket streaming of this match will be available on PTV Sports Live, along with the live cricket telecast on Ten Sports, PTV, and Geo Super TV. In United Arab Emirates (UAE), the live cricket streaming will be available on OSN Play, along with the live telecast on OSN Sports. In United Kingdom (UK), the live cricket streaming is available on Prime TV Online, along with the live cricket telecast on Prime TV. Also, in Bangladesh and West Indies, the live cricket telecast will be available on Gazi TV and Flow TV respectively.

After a long time, overseas cricketers will be seen playing in Pakistan. The last time such match involving foreign cricketers played in Pakistan was in May 2015 during the One-Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International (T20I) series between the home side and Zimbabwe. No foreign cricketers of Sarfraz Ahmed-led Quetta side will take part in the final because of security concerns. However, government has ensured full-proof arrangements to ensure safety and security of the teams as well as spectators.

On the other hand, Darren Sammy-captained Peshawar has called replacement for overseas players, who will not feature in the final clash. So far, both teams have faced each other in six matches. Quetta will have the upper hand with three wins over Peshawar from six games and two defeats, with one drawn contest. The last time they faced against each other was five days ago, where Quetta defeated Peshawar by a run while defending 200. All in all, both teams are well balance, and it will be yet another thrilling contest in PSL.
