Rain continued to play spoilsport as play was called off without a ball being bowled for the second straight day in the Under-19 Elite group C cricket match between Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu for Cooch Behar Trophy on Friday.
Heavy downpour lashed the city, presently under the influence of severe cyclone ‘Thane’, which crossed Tamil Nadu coast this morning.
The first day’s play was also washed out due to rain. (PTI)
