For the last year, I have been subject to allegations which have caused great amount of pain to my family and myself. Additionally it has caused severe reputational damage to the Rajasthan Royals, an organisation that I am immensely proud of and an association that I cherish.
I hereby undertake to place my entire shareholding of 11.7% in the franchise in the custody of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India or any institution that they direct me to. I will only seek back these shares once I am exonerated of these allegations.
I would like to reiterate that these allegations are completely false and my act of placing my shares in the custody of the Supreme Court is in no way an admission of guilt in any manner. I have full faith in the judicial system and I will support any further investigation and due judicial process to clear my name and reputation.
I hope this gesture on my part will help in the efforts to restore the faith and belief in the great game of cricket. I remain committed to the Rajasthan Royals, an organization that has always carried themselves with the highest levels on propriety both on and off the field
Regards,
Raj Kundra
