Indian Premier League franchise Rajasthan Royals has decided to spot and nurture young talent by associating themselves with an existing annual inter-school tournament to be held in Jaipur from November 9.

Rajasthan Royals, in partnership with the Sanskar School of Jaipur, would organise the fourth Kanni Thahryamal Memorial inter-school cricket tournament.

As a part of this initiative, Indian batting mainstay Rahul Dravid, who plays for the IPL franchisee, is to be present for the finals on December 3 and would interact with the students, a media release said.

Rajasthan Royals have signed up with the tournament to develop, nurture and motivate young talent at the grassroots level.

Starting from the quarterfinals, various Rajasthan Royals players and coaches would watch the tournament and scout for talent, besides sharing their knowledge with the budding players during specially designed coaching sessions, the release added. (PTI)
