Cobras lost early wickets in the Ram Slam Twenty20 (T20) final against Dolphins, while chasing down a score of 147. Jacques Kallis, known for playing the anchor role to perfection got out early as did the hard hitting batsman, Richard Levi. Kallis was cleaned up by Roby Frylinck for just five. In fact Dolphins got seam movement off the track early on. Both seamers including the tall Kyle Abbott extracted enough movement off the track to keep the opposition in check.

Even Mthokozisi Shezi extracted a bit of movement off the track and got a few to hold up on the track to leave Cobras in all sorts of trouble. After six overs,  Cobras made just 20 runs on the board.
