Sunny Sohal's half-century takes Haryana to 132/3 at lunch against

A disciplined batting effort by Haryana took them to 132 for three at tea on Day Two of the Ranji Trophy 2013-14 clash against Mumbai at Lahili on Monday.

Opener Rahul Dewan was unbeaten at the crease for 34 as he played patiently while the batsmen at the other end played the attacking game.

However, it was Sunny Singh was the key player for the hosts as he scored an attacking 63, a knock laced with 11 boundaries after Mumbai struck early to dismiss Nitin Saini.

For Mumbai, skipper Zaheer Khan looked good on a wicket that was assisting the pacers. He bagged two wickets by first dismissing Saini and then removing Abhimanyu Khod towards the end of the second session.

Earlier in the day, Joginder Sharma picked four wicket to bowl out Mumbai for 136 and giving them a two-run lead. He ended with five for 16 in the innings after Ajinkya Rahane struck his 24th First-Class half-century.
