Dindigul: Skipper Harbhajan Singh turned the clock back with a devastating spell of off-spinn bowling as his 7/37 helped Punjab shot out hosts Tamil Nadu for a paltry 69 to enter the quarter-finals of the Ranji Trophy. The Punjab captain had match-figures of 10/67 as tamil Nadu were bowled out in only 22 overs in chase of 313 on a very difficult track at the NPR College ground. It was one of the worst matches for Tamil Nadu as they scored 68 and 69 in their two innings. The TNCA prepared a turner keeping in mind their battery of spinners but India’s third highest wicket-taker showed that ‘Old is Gold’ as the Tamil Nadu batsmen did not have any answer to his viciously turning deliveries and the bounce that he generated off the track.
