Winning the toss, Services came out to bat and dominated the entire day with a disciplined batting effort before Himachal bouncing back just before stumps. Services lost an early wicket in form of Aanshul Gupta but the 264-run stand between Nakul and Ravi kept the bowling side at bay. After that, there was no success for Himachal for long as Nakul and Ravi toiled them hard for any breakthrough. Ravi was the aggressor of the two as he unleashed a flurry of boundaries in his unbeaten knock of over 150 while Nakul was also not far behind as the duo added runs at a good rate. <p></p> <p></p>Himachal were not upto the mark with both bowling and fielding but Rishi Dhawan's late wickets, dismissing Ravi and VU Yadav, brought Himachal slightly back into the game. They will feel confident to come out and dismiss Services as early as possible come Day Two.
