Where Bengal will have the services of Mohammed Shami and Wriddhiman Saha for the semi-final, Delhi will miss out on Ishant Sharma. The Delhi captain would be missing the crucial clash due to ankle niggle. Ishant sustained niggle during the final Test against Sri Lanka at Delhi. Ishant has taken 20 wickets from 4 Ranji matches at 12.80.

In absence of Ishant, Rishabh Pant will continue to lead Delhi. An official from Delhi management told PTI, “Ishant has a slight ankle niggle and he would not like to aggravate his injury before the South Africa series. The Delhi team reached Pune this evening without Ishant.”

Vikas Tokas will be spearheading Delhi’s pace attack. Delhi also have a back-up pacer in place in form of Akash Sudan.
