Vidarbha has taken a massive lead of 223 runs in their first innings. Wasim Jaffer who came to play on day 2 scored 78 before getting out to Navdeep Saini. Akshay Wadkar who came to bat at seven scored a brilliant knock of 133 and was unbeaten at the end of Day 3. Wadkar along with Aditya Sarwate built a partnership of 169.

The track seemed to be very flat on Day 3. Vikas Mishra bowled long spells but didn’t seem to extract anything from the track. Vidarbha has the advantage of the first innings lead. Siddesh Neral, batting on 56 is giving good support. He has hit four boundaries and four sixes so far.
