After posting 389, following on from their overnight score of 338/5, Meghalaya bundled out Nagaland for 106 in the first innings before enforcing the follow on. Nagaland finished day two at 31/0, trailing Meghalaya by 252 runs.
On day one, Meghalaya were buoyed by Yogesh Nagar’s 166 and opener RR Biswa’s 111 but they lost their last five wicket for just 51 runs to finish at 389. Pawan Suyal finished with 5/96 for Nagaland while Jalal claimed 3/33.
In reply, Nagaland played out 46.3 overs, scoring only 106 runs. Wicketkeeper batsman KB Pawan top-scored with 21 while Paras made 20. For Meghalaya, Gurinder Singh claimed 4/37 while Lakhan Singh picked 3/23 and A Singhania returned 3/12. Nagaland conceded a lead of 283 runs, and Meghalaya skipper JJ Lamare enforced the follow on against Nagaland.
In their second dig, Nagaland openers added 31 runs in ten overs, with Nitesh scoring 14 and Sedezhalie making 17. At stumps, Nagaland trail Meghalaya by 252 runs
