The 31-year-old Kulwant Khejroliya made Ranji Trophy history by collecting four wickets in four balls, joining Shankar Saini of Delhi and Mohammed Mudhasir of Jammu & Kashmir to achieve this feat. He also made Ranji Trophy history as the third bowler from MP to achieve a hat-trick. To force follow-on, MP scored 454 in their opening innings and dismissed Baroda for a pitiful 132. Before Khejroliya smacked them, top-order batsman Shashwat Rawat made a rearguard 105 to keep Baroda in the match.
In 98.3 overs, Madhya Pradesh defeated Baroda for 270 runs to seal the decisive victory and take the top spot in the points standings.

Khejroliya, who has played for the Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, and Royal Challengers Bangalore, bowled the 95th over. He quickly reduced the visitors’ score from 255-5 to 255-9 by dismissing Shashwat Rawat, Mahesh Pithiya, Bhargav Bhatt, and Akash Singh on the second, third, fourth, and fifth balls.
In the 99th over, he came back to claim the last wicket of Atit Sheth (20) to complete his five-wicket haul and secure the decisive victory.
