Team India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and his wife Reeva met with an accident on Friday evening in Jamnagar. The accident happened when the car, in which Jadeja and his wife were travelling, collided with a two-wheeler. The cricketer’s car hit the back side of the two-wheeler. A certain Preeti Sharma, who reportedly was riding on the two-wheeler, received minor injuries in the accident. She was then promptly taken to a nearby hospital by the cricketer, who ensured Preeti got immediate medical attention. Jadeja, his wife Reeva and the girl are doing perfectly fine now. The girl Preeti, in fact, has been discharged from the hospital.

Jadeja, who has been rested for the ongoing three-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series against England, was having a good time with his wife on Saturday evening. The couple was travelling in the swanky Audi car, which hit the moped right outside Jadeja’s residence in Park Colony Society in Joggers Park area of Jamnagar. But luckily, no major damage was reported, as all the parties involved are perfectly fine. Though his car got slightly damaged in the accident, Jadeja should feel himself mighty lucky given his wife and he escaped any injury in the accident.
