Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) are going to face each other in the final of the Indian premier league (IPL) 2025. Both the teams will have only one end goal in their mind- that is to win the match and lift the title. Even though everyone’s focus is going to be on Virat Kohli- who despite having his name tied to RCB since the beginning, could not help in his team lifting the title yet. This is the fourth time the team has made it to the finals.

Thousands of fans will be seen wearing jersey number 18 to show their support to Virat Kohli in the final match of the tournament, which is set to be held at the Narendra Modi Stadium. RCB have put their past problems behind them and have performed well from the start of the tournament till now. They secured their place in the final by beating Punjab Kings in the Qualifier-1, and will aim to repeat the same performance.

Lot of focus will be on Virat Kohli:
Virat Kohli has performed well, just like any other year. He has also been the main pillar for RCB’s batting lineup, with 614 runs so far. The main thing which made the big difference was that he got lot of support from other players as well. This year Kohli has not been the only one who seemed to be completely focused for the betterment of the team. Phil Salt is one player who helped Virat a lot while playing for RCB to achieve such great start, along with Mayank Agarwal, captain Rajat Patidar and Jitesh Sharma being dependable players in the batting unit.

Punjab Kings’ strong performance under Shreyas Iyer:
Under the leadership of Shreyas Iyer, Kolkata Knight Riders became the champions last year. In such way, reaching the finals for the second consecutive time speaks a lot about his captaincy skills. That’s why it is not a shocking thing that Shreyas is the only cricketer in the 18 year’s history of the tournament to lead three different teams to the IPL final.

Squad of both teams:
Royal Challengers Bengaluru:
Philip Salt, Virat Kohli, Mayank Agarawal, Rajat Patidar(c), Liam Livingstone, Jitesh Sharma(w), Romario Shepherd, Krunal Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Yash Dayal, Josh Hazlewood, Suyash Sharma, Rasikh Dar Salam, Manoj Bhandage, Tim Seifert, Swapnil Singh, Tim David, Blessing Muzarabani, Nuwan Thushara, Mohit Rathee, Swastik Chikara, Abhinandan Singh.
