The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Wednesday announced Richard Pybus as the head coach for their national side for the next two years.

“We have just received his confirmation. Hopefully he will join us by the first week of June,” Nizamuddin Chowdhury, the acting chief executive officer of BCB was quoted as saying by Reuters.

Pybus appointment has come after the resignation of Stuart Law, who quit in April due to family reasons after being in the job for nine months.

According to the board, 47-year-old Pybus will be given a two-year contract, which can be extended up to the next World Cup in Australia and New Zealand in 2015.
