India’s opening batsman, Rohit Sharma, was dismissed for a healthy 64 after being bowled up by Stuart Thompson, against minnows, Ireland, in their Pool B, match 34 of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 at Seddon Park in Hamilton on Tuesday. Currently, India are 175 for the loss of a wicket in 24 overs, with Shikhar Dhawan batting on 96 and Virat Kohli coming on.

Earlier, Irish skipper, William Porterfield won the toss and elected to bat first as Ireland were bowled out for 259, with Niall O’Brien being the highest scorer with 75 runs and Mohammed shami claiming three for 41.
