India skipper Rohit Sharma continued his string of low scores as he only managed to score 10 runs during the Men in Blue’s first innings of the third Border-Gavaskar series Test at The Gabba.
Rohit was dismissed by Australia skipper Pat Cummins, who bowled a brilliant out-swinger on the fifth stump. With this innings, the 37-year-old continued his woeful form in the series and even in Test cricket as a whole.
The India skipper has only managed to score 19 runs from 3 innings in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar series. He missed the first Test of the series due to the birth of his second child. Rohit will definitely be looking for a change of fortune in the second innings of the Brisbane Test.
Following Rohit’s cheap dismissal at The Gabba, fans flocked to social media to criticize the skipper for his poor form in Test cricket and also unleashed tons of memes.
