INDIA captain Rohit Sharma visited the Tirupati Balaji temple with his wife Ritika Sajdeh and daughter Samaira ahead of the Asia Cup 2023. India will face arch-rivals Pakistan in their first match of Asia Cup 2023 on September 2 in Kandy, Sri Lanka.

Video and pictures of the Indian skipper’s visit to the Tirupati Balaji temple are now circulating at a rapid pace on the internet. Fans are loving this visit and sharing its glimpse all over the social media.

The star batter was recently on the tour of the Windies. However, he along with Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja were rested from the T20I series to manage their workload ahead of the major tournaments like Asia Cup and ODI World Cup 2023.

Rohit Sharma Addresses No. 4 Dilemma

India are struggling to find a batter for the No. 4 slot, something that has also troubled them in the previous edition in 2019 in England.

As per the recent reports, injured Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul will be fit for the upcoming tournaments but their form will be the major concern for the Men In Blue. Rohit Sharma revealed that nobody will be the automatic choice for the team India in upcoming tournaments.

“Shreyas and KL are coming off not playing anything for four months, big injuries, surgeries rather. Both had surgeries. I know, I had to undergo surgery once and how it feels afterwards, it is quite tough. We have to see, how they respond, what they do,” Rohit Sharma said on the sidelines of a La Liga event in Mumbai.

“The selection (meeting) will be there in a few days, we will have a good debate about what we can do. But honestly, nobody is an automatic choice – they all have to fight for the spot – everyone has to, whether it is a top spot or a bottom spot,” he stated.

“We have got a lot of names there. We will see what is the right combination for us to go in the World Cup but before we have the Asia Cup,” the India skipper said.
