CRICKET South Africa announced the squad for their upcoming white-ball series against Australia that will start from 30th August. SA will host the Aussies for three T20Is and five ODIs. Dynamic young batter, Dewald Brevis received his maiden International call-up for both T20 Internationals and One Day Internationals.
Brevis’ fellow Mumbai Indian batter and rising Indian star Tilka Varma video called and congratulated him on this much-awaited and special occasion. Tilak later posted the screenshot on their call and captioned it “Congratulations on your call up brother! So happy and proud of you.”
Whereas Brevis has received cal-ups in both ODI and T20I, Donovan Ferreira, Gerald Coetzee, and Matthew Breetzke secured their maiden T20I call-ups.
Temba Bavuma will be leading the ODI team that consists of the likes of Keshav Maharaj, Anrich Nortje, Aiden Markram, Rassie van der Dussen, David Miller, Quinton de Kock. On the other hand, Aiden Markram will lead the team in T20Is.
