Indian batting legend Sachin Tendulkar said on Wednesday that the coins that he won while training under Ramakant Achrekar are precious to him.
“Closest to me are the coins I won while training under Ramakant Achrekar sir,” Tendulkar was quoted as saying by NDTV Cricket‘s on Twitter.
“Also close to my heart are Muhammed Ali gloves signed by him and Sir Don Bradman autographed bat and frame,” he added.

Tendulkar said that he was awaiting a gift from veteran and popular singer Lata Mangeshkar.
“I am awaiting a surprise gift from Lata Mangeshkar. She said she will give me something.”
The 40-year-old also told that Dire Straits’ guitarist Mark Knopfler and AR Rahman’s guitars are valuable gifts to him.
“On non-cricketing front I value gifts from Mark Knopfler guitar and AR Rahman guitar. Also 60’s Asha Bhosle record written by her,” he said.
