Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar on Thursday became the second after Virat Kohli to cross the five-million followers mark on the social networking and microblogging website Twitter. As of February 5, 2015, Tendulkar has 5.02 million followers compared to Kohli’s 5.36 million.

Kohli was the first Indian cricketer ever in the history to cross the five-million followers mark, a feat that came his way early in January. The Indian Test captain has a strong presence on Facebook as well. Tendulkar has about 24.68 million fans on Facebook, which is well above Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Kohli. While Dhoni has about 12 million fans on Facebook, Kohli is on the way to touch the 20-million fan base.
