It is the season of Test cricket and current and former cricketers are currently revealing their All-Time XIs. After players like Kumar Sangakkara, Jason Gillespie, et al, former Pakistan leggie Mushtaq Ahmed came up with his All-Time XI, which is full of legendary players and three active cricketers. As always, it came through Lord’s Cricket Ground’s official YouTube channel. The opening batsmen for Mushtaq’s XI are Alastair Cook and Hashim Amla, who are currently the best openers in the world.
The middle order comprises of the likes of Ricky Ponting, Sachin Tendulkar along with the modern day great AB de Villiers, followed by all-rounder Jacques Kallis and wicketkeeper Adam Gilchrist.
Like batting, Mushtaq’s bowling department too wears a balanced and lethal look with Wasim Akram, Malcolm Marshal, Glenn McGrath and the only spinner, who that too is a leggie — Shane Warne. Mushtaq’s XI seems to be a balance side of former greats along with modern day cricketers. Also Read: No Indian cricketer in Ryan Sidebottom’s All Time XI
