Sachin Tendulkar remembers his dad on Father’s Day

Ramesh Tendulkar, Sachin's father, was a renowned Marathi poet and novelist.

Former Indian cricketer and batting legend Sachin Tendulkar shared a picture of him along with his father on the occasion of Father’s Day on Sunday, June 21.

Ramesh Tendulkar, the Master Blaster’s father, was a reputed Marathi poet and novelist. He passed away while Sachin was touring with the Indian cricket team in the 1999 World Cup. Sachin, as a result, missed out on the league match against Zimbabwe in order to attend his father’s last rites.
