India players, past and present including Sachin Tendulkar, Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane and Anil Kumble paid their tributes to the soldiers on the occasion of Vijay Diwas, which is celebrated on July 26 every year to mark the anniversary of the day India won the Kargil war over Pakistan. The cricketers took to social media to express their views as a mark of respect to the soldiers, who risk their lives so that the civilians across the country are safe. Tendulkar, who is considered a God in India has ofter taken to social media to express his views about many things and this time it’s no different.
