Sachin Tendulkar sheds light on struggle, says he had to cycle to get to ground as a kid

Tendulkar first played for the country at the age of 16 against Pakistan.

Sachin Tendulkar’s autobiography ‘Playing it My Way’ provides a lot of evidence of his hard work to make it to the top. He shed light on his struggle as he said he used cycle to the ground as a child.

The great batsman, now retired was quoted as saying on Facebook “My first mode of transportation and the first day was indeed a first show. Did not even have insurance then!!!”

Tendulkar first played for the country at the age of 16 against Pakistan when he went up against Imran Khan, Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis. He ended his career as the highest run scorer in Tests and One-Day cricket.
