Sachin Tendulkar wishes fans on Ganesh Chaturthi

Sachin Tendulkar wishes his fans and followers on Ganesh Chaturthi through social networking site, Facebook. He updated his status on his official Facebook page on firday. His status was, “May Lord Ganesha continue to look after us and bless us with happiness, strength & above all good health. Ganpati Bappa Morya !!!”

Tendulkar also wished during Janmastami and Independence Day to all his country folks on the same social media platform. Tendulkar  emphasised on the need for cleanliness and lent his support to school children. He said, “The youngsters who are fighting for Independence from littering and making this beautiful city dirty are doing a great job.” He also requested the people so that they pledge to keep a clean and healthy surroundings as a commemoration of the country’s Independence Day.
