Born on October 14, 1977, Saeed Ajmal,  turned 37 on Tuesday. The Pakistani off-spinner is regarded as one of the best tweakers in the world, as he tops the ICC Bowler rankings of the ICC in ODIs.

Ajmal made his debut for Pakistan in 2008 against India in Karachi at the Asia Cup. Since then he has been a valuable member of the Pakistan squad owing to his brilliant bowling performance. However, his break-through came in the year 2013 when he claimed 62 ODI wickets with an economy of 4.13 and an average of 20.45 in 33 matches with the best bowling figure of five for just 24 against India in Delhi.

Ajmal made his T20 debut in 2009 and had an impressive stint during the year 2012 claiming 25 wickets in 16 matches with an economy of 6.10 and best figure of 4 for 23 against England at Abu Dhabi.

His Test debut followed the same year in as his T20 debut and had an impressive stint in 2011 when he claimed 50 wickets with an economy of just 2.44 in eight matches and the best figure of 7 for just 55 against against England in Dubai.

Currently, he has been suspended for an indefinite period by the ICC after being reported for illegal bowling action and failing the test subsequently at Brisbane.
