Hello, good evening and welcome to CricketCountry’s live cricket blog and updates of the second semi-final between Ireland and Scotland of the ongoing Desert T20 2017 tournament. Scotland will be considered as red-hot favourites for a place in the final of the Desert T20 2017, as they have not lost a single game so far. This is the final day of the one-week long tournament, as all knockouts games are being played on January 20, Friday. The first semi-final is already wrapped up with Afghanistan making it to the final, and the winner of this clash will meet the Asian side later in the evening. The pressure will particularly be on Ireland as their opponents have bettered their game since their inaugural clash. Ireland are slightly more experienced than Scotland, but they will have to live up to their ‘experienced’ tag on the big day.
The final will be organised later on Friday night, which would surely test the fitness and temperament of the finalists in the shortest format of the game. The final will also help in determining which team among the ‘minnows’ are strong enough to bear the pressure of workload.
