In match no. 12 of the ongoing Desert Twenty20 International (T20I) Challenge 2017, Oman meet Scotland in a crunch game of Group B. This is the last game of the group stages but still has a lot to offer with Oman still few inches away from qualification to the next round. From Group A, Afghanistan and Ireland are through to the semi-finals whereas Scotland have confirmed their place from Group B. Oman are touching distance away from reaching the knockouts and have to only avoid a humongous defeat in the final league game against Scotland to reach the final four.
The live cricket telecast of the match will be available on Sky Sports and the live streaming is available on skysports.com. With Hong Kong defeating Netherlands by 91 runs yesterday, they have given themselves an outside chance but are still on the 3rd spot due to net run-rate. Oman are well aware of the situation but will still like to press hard for a win to keep momentum entering the semi-finals. This is the first edition of the eight-team tournament being played in the UAE. The matches have been played at Sharjah and Abu Dhabi. Final shall be played on Friday.
