Scotland win toss, elect to field against Australia in one-off ODI in Edinburgh

Scotland have won the toss and have elected to field in the one-off One-Day International (ODI) against Australia in Edinburgh at the Grange Cricket Club Ground on Tuesday.

Scotland have won the toss and have elected to field in the one-off One-Day International (ODI) against Australia in Edinburgh at the Grange Cricket Club Ground on Tuesday.

Scotland will be led by Preston Mommsen and Michael Clarke will lead Australia. Aaron Finch and Shaun Marsh will open the batting for Australia. The ones that miss out for Australia are Phil Hughes, Glenn Maxwell, Nathan Coulter-Nile and Josh Hazlewood.

Australia enter the match after a two-match Twnety20 International series against England that finished 1-1. Australia won the first match in Southampton by 39 runs and lost the second match in Durham by 27 runs.

Scotland: Hamish Gardiner, Freddie Coleman, Matt Machan, Richie Berrington, Preston Mommsen (c), Calum MacLeod, Majid Haq, Gordon Drummond, David Murphy (wk), Gordon Goudie, Iain Wardlaw.

Australia: Shane Watson, Aaron Finch, Shaun Marsh, Michael Clarke (c), George Bailey, Adam Voges, Matthew Wade (wk), James Faulkner, Mitchell Johnson, Clint McKay, Fawad Ahmed.
