Former South African bolwer Shaun Pollock on Sunday got the honour of ringing the Lord s pavilion bell.

Previously, London Olympics 100m silver medalist Yohan Blake rang the bell on Thursday, followed by Olympic shooter and gold medallist Peter Wilson.

It was Pollock s dream to ring the pavilion bell, which finally came true.

According to David Lloyd, as British musical chairs champion Basildon Farg wasn t available, Pollock got the honour.

“Shaun Pollock fulfilled a lifetime ambition and rang the Lord s pavilion bell after being shunted down the queue by Yohan Blake, Olympic shooter Peter Wilson and yours truly. He couldn t stop smiling,” Lloyd wrote in his Daily Mail column.

England needs 330 on the final day of the Lord’s Test with eight wickets left to win and draw the series. Jonathan Trott and Ian Bell were at the crease at stumps on fourth day of the final Test.
