Eid-al-Adha or Bakr-Eid is the second most celebrated festival in the Muslim community. This festive day is celebrated around the world every year and mostly in south-east of Asia, where it is marked by great pomp and show. The day is also called as ‘Feast of Sacrifice’. On this day, the meat from the sacrificial animal, which is usually a goat, is divided into three parts. Two parts are shared with friends, neighbours and relatives and the remaining part is retained in the family.
With social media being one of the biggest and easiest mediums to wish people on this occasion, cricketers are not far away from doing this. The cricket fraternity, especially from Pakistan, wished ‘Eid Mubarak’ through Twitter.
