Shoaib Malik says he has five or six years of cricket in him

Pakistan all-rounder Shoaib Malik has said that he still has five more years of international cricket in him.He hopes his form in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) will help him with his return to the international side.

Pakistan all-rounder Shoaib Malik has said that he still has five more years of international cricket in him.He hopes his form in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) will help him with his return to the international side.

“I still think I can play for another five or six years. I am fit but I want to see myself consistent. I do not want to bat at number six anymore. I want to bat at number three or four,” Malik was quoted by Cricket365.com. Currently Malik is the top run-getter in the CPL playing for Barbados Tridents. He was dropped from the Pakistan team after ICC Champions Trophy 2013.

The 31-year-old Pakistan all-rounder said that he wants to do well for his country. He was struggling with shoulder and elbow injury and is currently working hard on his fitness. Malik said that he can even bowl 30 overs in one day.
