India A had the upper hand going into the lunch break, having gone past Bangladesh’s total on Day Two of the two-day warm-up match being played at Hyderabad. Shreyas Iyer slammed a superb ton and retired out immediately for 100 off just 92 balls. Shreyas struck 11 fours and 4 sixes in his innings. He brought up his fifty off 56 deliveries; the next 50 runs came in just 36 deliveries. Priyank Panchal has batted well as well. He has carried on his good run from the domestic circuit and has scored a ton. Ishank Jaggi has come out to bat after Shreyas headed back to the pavilion. Panchal and Shreyas added 159 for the second wicket, which  put India A in the driver’s seat. Live Cricket Updates: India A vs Bangladesh, Warm-up match Day 2 at Hyderabad

India resumed Day Two on 91 for 1, still 133 runs behind Bangladesh. The hosts have added an incredible 152 runs in the first session, exploiting the inexperienced Bangladeshi bowlers. Abhinav Mukund was the only batsman to be dismissed on Day One, after Bangladesh declared their innings at 224 for 8 after fifties from Soumya Sarkar and skipper Mushfiqur Rahim. Subashis Roy is the lone wicket-taker for Bangladesh so far. For India A, it was Aniket Choudhary who finished with figures of 4 for 26.

Jayant Yadav and Hardik Pandya, who have been selected for the one-off Test against Bangladesh, did not have good outings with the ball. Pandya in particular was very expensive in the three overs he bowled.

Jayant and Pandya will look to have a bat sometime later in the day. If India A declare after taking a slender lead, Jayant and Pandya will look to get into rhythm and pick up a wicket or two to get their confidence back. On Day One, Bangladesh had won the toss and elected to bat first.
