Gujarat Titans (GT) faced Mumbai Indians (MI) in their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 clash at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. A lot was expected from Shubman Gill, who is one of the key player of the team. Even though he got off to a great start, he could not manage to post a big score. However, Gill surely managed to create a big record.
Shubman Gill has scored 1000 runs at the Narendra Modi Stadium, and has become the first player to do this feat in the venue. He has done this in 20 innings, making him the fastest Indian to score 1000 runs at a venue in the history of IPL.
Coming to the match, Shubman Gill was looking in good form as he had scored 38 runs off 27 balls. He his four fours and a six during his short stay at the crease, and put out a solid partnership of 78 runs for first wicket with Sai Sudarshan. He was eventually dismissed by Hardik Pandya.
