Former India A and Rajasthan Royals seamer Siddharth Trivedi was back in the domestic fold as he made a successful comeback for Saurashtra in a Vijay Hazare Trophy match against Mumbai after having served a one-year ban by Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for not reporting approach by the bookie.

It must be recalled that Trivedi’s name was under scanner as he had met a few alleged bookies on insistence of tainted cricketer Ajit Chandila, unknowingly. Trivedi was banned by the BCCI for one season because he did not report that he was approached by the bookies.
