It’s considered the mother of all cricket battles, at least for its hoary history. The 2015 Ashes starts with the first Test at Cardiff’s Sophia Garden from July 8. It’s still almost a month away and the Australian team is still in the Caribbean playing the West Indies, but the build-up for the Ashes has already began.
Sky Sports cricket pundits have teamed up with rock star Elio Pace and his band for a rendition of the Billy Joel classic ‘We Didn’t Start The Fire’ — with an Ashes twist. Even if one is not an Englishman or an Aussie, the beautifully made video will whip up the cricketing passion in you.
The Aussies whipped England 5-0 in the 2013-14 series in Australia and will be looked forward to a similar result when they tour Ole Blighty next month.
