England are leading in spite of South Africa winning 3rd One-Day International (ODI) and 4th ODI will be the only opportunity for hosts to draw the five-match ODI series with the final ODI left to decide who will gain victory. South Africa who were buried with their defeat in first two ODI’s as well as Tests match, came out with confidence in 3rd ODI boosting the morale for 4th and final ODI matches. Quinton de Kock played exceptionally well breaking Indian star batsman record becoming the quickest to score 10 centuries in ODI cricket. De Kock scored 135 from 117 balls that consisted of 16 boundaries and 4 sixes. South Africa chased an innings of 318 runs posed by visitors and successfully sauntered victory by seven wickets. Amla scored 127 from 130 balls and shared an opening stand of 239 runs to provide an initial start to South Africa. England equally posed a tough competition until the end of the match with Joe Root scoring 125 from mere 113 balls with 10 boundaries and 5 sixes. South Africa skipper AB de Villiers was very happy with the team’s performance and was confident South Africa will earn their first victory by winning the 3 rd ODI. England have been consistent in their performance right since Test matches and following the suit in ODI series by winning first and second matches. England will look to comeback in 4 th ODI by winning this one and once again seal five-match ODI series on their name. The 4 th ODI will take place at Johannesburg.
