Maverick Indian speedster S Sreesanth, who is recovering from twin surgeries on his toes, on Saturday said he expects to return to full fitness by January next year.
“I am not in a hurry,” he told reporters when asked about his comeback plans.
Sreesanth hopes to actively start practicing in four months time.
Sreesanth had undergone surgeries on both his toes a few months back which forced him to sit out of the game.
Asked about his ‘childish argument’ recently with flight attendants on board Bangalore-Delhi flight, the temperamental cricketer said his friend was responsible for the incident and not him.
The cricketer, who received the ‘Son of Kerala’ award instituted by the All India Conference of Intellectuals’ came to the venue accompanied by his parents. (PTI)
