After winning the first 2 matches in the 3-match T20I series and that too in convincing fashion, India will be looking for a series whitewash against Sri Lanka by winning the third and final match.
Though the first match was played without any interruptions, the second encounter turned out to be a match that was interrupted several times due to rain and the match was even decided through DLS method.
It has heavily rained in Pallekele over the past 2 days and similar to the manner in which it affected the second T20I, it could have a say on Tuesday’s encounter as well.
The pitch at the Pallekele International Stadium has been favourable for the batters and has provided good pace and bounce especially in the first few overs.
