Sri Lanka and Pakistan will take on each other in the second T20 International at Colombo. This will be the final match of the series which began with a three-match Test series, was followed by a five-match One-Day International (ODI) series and was topped off with a two-match T20I series. Pakistan dominated majority of the series and won both the Test and ODI series by margins of 1-2 and 2-3 respectively. They’ll now hope to cap of the tour with the T20I series win as well. Sri Lanka, on the other hand, will be keen to score an equaliser in the series to give the home crowd something to cheer about. They were comprehensively beaten in the first T20I by their resurgent visitors by a margin of 29 runs. Pakistan’s score was primarily made up of three knocks of 46 from the bats of Ahmed Shehzad, Umar Akmal and Shoaib Malik respectively. Sri Lanka’s head bowler, Lasith Malinga conceded 46 runs in his four overs and was barely a threat to the opposition. Sri Lanka’s batsmen couldn’t quite stand up strong to the Pakistani attack. Sohail Tanvir took three wickets for 29 runs to confirm a win for Pakistan.
