It is the crucial Day Five of the only Test between Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe. The match is being played at the R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo. The match is currently swinging equally both sides, with each team having equal chances to win the match at this stage. Zimbabwe, confident after their historic victory in the One-Day International (ODI) series, put up impressive performances in the Test. In both their batting innings, heroic performances came from individual players. In the first innings, it was Craig Ervine while in the second, it was Sikandar Raza both of whom scored centuries respectively. With the ball, skipper Graeme Cremer has been the most successful. For Sri Lanka, Rangana Herath has been the most successful with a 10-wicket-haul in the match while the entire batting has stepped up from time to time for the side. New skipper Dinesh Chandimal’s tactics look promising. All in all, both Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe have put up impressive and competitive performances to make the match an equal competition.
