Sri Lanka‘s veteran spinner Rangana Herath adds another feather to his cap, as he registers the 30th five-wicket haul of his Test career during the only Test against Zimbabwe at Colombo. On Friday, Herath had equalled Malcolm Marshal’s numbers, bagging his 376th wicket. By the end of day’s play, he collected 4 wickets. On Day Two, he dismissed Donald Tiripano to register fifth most five-fors, only behind Anil Kumble (35), Richard Hadlee (36), Shane Warne (37), and Muttiah Muralitharan (67). Herath gave Sri Lanka their first breakthrough on Friday, dismissing opener Regis Chakabva within 10 overs. He later removed Hamilton Masakadza and triggered Zimbabwe’s collapse in the first session of the game. He again tasted success in the second session, removing a set Sikandar Raza. In the third session, Herath’s prey was Malcolm Waller. On Day Two, he continued his good work. It was him who took the first wicket of the day, dismissing Tiripano and completing his five-for.
