England all-rounder Stuart Broad is delighted with England’s rise to the No 1 status in One-Day Internationals (ODIs) as they replaced former World Champions Australia as the numero uno team on Wednesday.

Broad tweeted on his account, “In other news, England ODI side rise to Number 1 in the World! New rankings out today, shows how far we’ve come with the white ball.”

England, who might lose their No 1 rankings in Test cricket if they lose to South Africa in the third Test will be eager to fight back, feels Broad.

He tweeted, “Yes Number 1 in all formats now. Need a win at Lords next Test to ensure we stay at Test No1. Massive week of cricket”
