According to media reports, Indian star cricketer Suresh Raina might be dating Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, although the actress denied the rumours.
The duo met in London when India was touring England and Anushka was shooting for a movie. Both cricketer and actress have since then tried to stay in touch and spent time with each other.
Previously, Anushka was dating her Band Baaja Baraat co-star Ranveer Singh before being linked up with Shahid Kapoor.
Few days back also Anushka was seen with Ranveer in a multiplex at the suburbs.
It will be interesting to see whether Anushka turns up to cheer for Raina during Indian Premier League (IPL). Actors like Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif has been visiting IPL matches to cheer for their friends and partners’ teams.
It will be interesting to see what cooks up during the IPL matches between the two.
Earlier Raina was seen with Poorna Patel, daughter of Civil Aviation minister Praful Patel, when he went to Shirdi to seek blessings before leaving for West Indies.
She was inducted into the IPL in November 2008, just before the Champions League that was to have been played in December that year but was called off because of the Mumbai terror attacks. She is a close friend of Gayatri Reddy, scion of the family that owns the Hyderabad team, the Deccan Chargers.
