County club Surrey’s manager Chris Adams is surprised that Indian spinner Pragyan Ojha was not included in the Test squad against England and said that he would play 100 Tests for his country.

“It’s not for me to comment on India’s selections but I’m amazed he’s not playing Test cricket. I strongly believe he will play 100 Tests for India, from what I’ve seen. I may be hitting high, but he’s a wonderful bowler with wonderful skills. I expect him in the next six months to break into the India team and be a permanent fixture,” Adams was quoed by TOI.

The left-arm spinner bagged six for 42 in Surrey’s win over Derbyshire by an innings and 126 runs in three days at The Oval. With this win, Surrey were promoted to the county to LV County Championship Division One.

Ojha finished with the match figures of 10 for 90 to help Surrey win the match. He took 24 wickets at an average of 12.95 runs this season to help Surrey register four successive championship victories.
