Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who portrayed former Indian captain MS Dhoni in the biopic that released last year, took to his official Twitter handle on Monday to wish Dhoni’s daughter Ziva on her birthday. ‘Real’ Dhoni’s little bundle of joy Ziva turned 2 on Monday and on this occasion, the ‘reel’ Dhoni also sent in his wishes. Sushant acted in the movie titled ‘MS Dhoni – The Untold Story’, which was released in September last year and received positive response from both fans as well as critics. Post release, the movie raked in over 2,000 million rupees at the box office from around the world.
The movie showed lesser-known story of Dhoni’s struggle in becoming the World Cup winning captain from a Ticket Collector with the Indian Railways. The then Indian captain himself was pretty much a part of the movie as he was involved in the production part as well as promotion, which he did extensively. He had a close eye on the script of the movie which was being produced by his close friend Arun Pandey. Sushant, through his Twitter handle, sent the wish to his over half-a-million followers. It read: “A very happy birthday to this little angel. #ziva”. By the time of filing this report, his tweet had already been retweeted over a 1,000 times and liked over 4,000 times.

During the filming of ‘MS Dhoni – The Untold Story,’ Sushant and Dhoni came close and became good friends. The two were often spotted together after the India matches and at the shoot. Sushant had even visited Dhoni’s home in Ranchi and shared his pictures with Ziva on social networking sites.
