Bangladesh openers, Tamim Iqbal and Imrul Kayes registered the highest opening stand in the second innings for a side, against against Pakistan on Day 5 of the first Test of the two-match Test series, at Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna on Saturday. They brought up a stand of 312 which is the highest for any side batting in the second innings by openers. Earlier, both these batsmen put up a record stand for any wicket for Bangladesh in Test cricket, as well as other numerous records were broken by these two men.
