Bangladesh captain Mushfiqur Rahim won the toss and elected to bat against Pakistan in their first One-Day International at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.

 

Dashing opener Tamim Iqbal has returned to the Bangladesh team after recovering from injury, and Shahriar Nafees was also included.

 

Pakistan made two changes in their playing XI with Younis Khan and Sarfaraz Ahmed replacing Asad Shafiq and Sohail Tanvir.

 

Pakistan won the only Twenty20 international against Bangladesh by 50 runs at the same venue.
